Most advice about living abroad was written for one kind of traveler — the one who can walk into any country and be read, correctly, as exactly who they are. Safety indexes, relocation guides, "best places to retire" lists: they were built around a body, a passport, a face that moves through the world without translation.
That's not the only body making this decision.
Sovereign Sundays is for the people asking a different question. Not "is it safe," but "will I belong there." Not "what's the crime rate," but "who gets to feel at home, and on whose terms." If you're Black, queer, disabled, undocumented-adjacent, or just tired of advice that assumes you're starting from the same place as everyone else — this is written with you in the room.
Every Sunday: a real look at geoarbitrage, cross-cultural adaptation, and what it actually costs — financially, socially, spiritually — to build a life across borders. Not the highlight reel. Not the "I quit my job and now I'm free" version. The whole thing: the paperwork, the loneliness some weeks, the moments you feel more like yourself somewhere else than you ever did at home.
